I am a huge fan of Jay Crownover`s Marked Men series.  And boy, I could not wait until this one came out. Its going around that this is much  more dark and dirty than the other series, and I must say I agree. Bax is just plain BAD and sexy, and a very well written character.

There is a lot going on in this book -- drugs, theft, prostitution, you name it. And instead of focusing more on 
the romance, it goes right for the guts and from the first page there is fighting.

Dovie was an interesting character. She was one of those strong willed girls that Jay Crownover manages to write so well. Despite being terrified of her situation she ran headlong into danger out of loyalty. 

Bax was, in pure Crownover fashion, freaking PERFECT. Well, not really perfect, but... cant I keep him?! Hes sexy as crap, a total badass, and is willing to throwdown for his girl. Who wouldnt love a guy like that? and can I just say I totally enjoyed watching him get over his emotional struggle and fall stupidly in love. 

I did look forward to Bax`s POV a lot, though. To me he was much more interesting that Dovie, not sure why. The secondary characters were perfect, and I was just sucked into the book. 

All in all, without giving too much away, I absolutely loved this book. I rated it four stars, and I cant wait for more in the series. Its a must buy, and if you havent heard of her Marked Men series, well then get yourself out from under that rock and check those out too!

So, I think I did a no no with this book. I didnt read the first book, and I didnt realize that this was the second book in the series and I went ahead and read it. It was also my first Felicity Heaton book. This isnt the first time I have found myself in this predicament, btw.

I will say, for anyone who has done or is about to do the same thing I did, that personally I dont think that you will be that bad off without the first book. It might be good to go back and read it if you have read this one first, and I will make sure I do that, but aside from a few things, I wasnt too lost.

So, I was really looking forward to this book. Loved the cover, which was what really drew me to the book in the first place. I had been getting into contemporary romance and NA books lately, so I thought I would give it a try.

I was sorely dissapointed about the fact that I could not even finish it. Yes, everybody have different opinions in books, and while Im sad that this book wasnt for me, a line had to be drawn at a certain point.

I didnt like the main character or the point of view. The "Hero", while totally hot, was crying at every turn and that, people, is a turn off. Certain events were just confusing me, and honestly, I didnt find anything in the book that drew me in and made me want to keep reading. Emotions seemed unrealistic and I just didnt like it.

Not sure if I will pick up another book by the author. Maybe, but maybe not.

Ok, so this book is NOTHING like Claimed! Its dirtier and maybe a bit more... dramatic. But lemme tell you, despite the fact that throughout half of the book I wanted to punch both Cora and Aidan, I did enjoy this book.

It was hot and passionate and so damn confusing with the ups and downs and the "OMG hes breaking my heart but I refuse to leave! Or tell him how I feel!" (not to give away anything), that I just didn't want to put down the book because of it. I wanted to see what was next and it about drove me crazy.

Cora, while I expected her to be slightly tougher, surprised me a bit. She was very... emotional throughout the book. It wasn't until about the end that I saw her as I expected her to be. Aidan kept saying she was strong, but I had my doubts. Although with rational thinking, I can see it. Kind of. But still, I did expect more from her, but I didnt hate her character, which is a very good thing.

Aidan... OMG I just wanted to punch him. Yea, he had his moments where I was all "Awwwww..." because hes really sweet and passionate and just perfect, but hes soooooo.... a guy. And not only that, but hes a guy who had a traumatic thing happen (Again, no spoilers!) that kinda blinded him to everything, well, romantic.

All in all, I did enjoy reading Bared, and I cant wait to get my hands on more books in the series.

I received a digital copy of the book via netgalley, and it in no way swayed my opinion. Stacey Kennedy and her amazing writing did that.

Once again Trisha weaves a compelling story and world that just sucks readers in and doesnt let them go. I fully enjoyed reading another one of her books. While it took me a bit longer to read this one, once it hit that certain spot I didnt want to put it down.

The characters are amazing and I wouldnt change a thing about it. The POV annoyed me a bit because I felt that it should have been third person. It would have been much much better if we could delve into the minds of the other characters. Maybe a bit more jucier, too ;) The romance was good and OMG I want Devlan.

Im suprised, too, because Im not used to her books actually having a non cliff hangy ending. I dont have to anticipate another book even though I found multiple spots she could have cliffed us at.

All in all, there isnt much to say about this book other than the fact that you should go out and buy it. Stat.

Seriously, youll love it. I love Trisha`s writing style and the worlds she builds and the characters just fit. And while this review totally sucks and I promise to re-do it, take this as a hint to BUY IT WHEN IT COMES OUT!

The Only Larissa Ione books that I have read are the Lord of Deliverance books. The vampires in that series are VERY different from the ones in this series.

In this world that Larissa Ione created, vampires are known to the humans - and slaves! Or on the run and in hiding. Anywhoo, this book revolves around Nicole, a human whose family is the leading manufacturers in everything, well, anti vampires, and Riker, a vampire who hates humans because they killed his mate.

I will say, it wasn't at all what I was expecting (especially because I was used to the OTHER type of vampires that she had introduced us to), and at times it was boring. But for an introduction into this world, it wasn't that bad.

So, what to say about this book? Well, for one... I LOVED IT! Honestly, these books just get better and better! They are so well written and captivating. Finally, after a long wait, we finally see how the books are connected! Yay! I was starting to wonder...

Characters from the other two books come into play in this book, and its all up to Nate and his lovely badass lady friend, Ella to hunt down the evil demonic spirit that is trying to take over the world.

As they struggle to solve the mystery of their target- and come to terms with their past- a passionate heat smothers between them and their attraction grows too hot to resist....

And let me tell you... HOT! By far, this is my favorite. It even made me cry. To sum it up, its a broken woman healing a broken man. gah! The emotions. Stacy Gail is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors, what with her sexy angels and all. Girls Rule? Ya know it! ;)

If you havnt read any of the books in the series, I highly recommend this for anyone 17+ and fans of Angel, Demons, Fallen Angels, and Kick- ass heroines.

I totally loved this one. This is the sequel to How Beauty Met the Beast, and its filled with action and not so subtle romance. A new character comes into play, and its fun watching Jolie grapple with jealousy. I found myself wanting to scream because she is clueless about Hauks feelings for her, and vice versa.There really isnt much to say about how awesome this book is without giving anything away. Just, trust me on this one.

I'm left stunned many times, and the ending is TO DIE FOR! If you haven't read any of the books in this series, but want to, you should totally drop what your doing and pick up the books! This is one modern day version of Beauty and the Beast you DON'T want to miss :)

*Pow!* Review: The Collector by Victoria Scott

So, you may have seen this bad buy around lately. His name is Dante Walker, and he will blow your socks off! Not really, but his arrogant attitude might make you want to take yours off and shove them in his mouth ;).

Everyone was just raving about The Collector, and because I had missed the deadline for the tour, I requested it on Netgalley as soon as I saw it pop up. And lemme tell you, it was better than I had expected! I do like my favorite book guys with some "swag", but Dante takes the cake. Hes borderline jerk, but for some reason I didnt hate him like I knew I should have.

I just sat there and grinned like an idiot because I knew by the end of the book he was going to get his ass handed to him by this little thing called L-O-V-E. It was so amazing, and I didn't mind that it was in first person POV at all. In fact, Dante was so hilarious that I couldn't help but laugh my ass off - or try not to because I didn't want the teachers to know I was ignoring them to read.

Omg, so what can I say about this book? First, I can say Im a slacker. How long have I finished this book...? Anywhoo, this is going to be a really hard review, not only for the time distance, but because there are so many things I loved about it!

I should start off by telling you for the first TEN chapters I bawled my eyes out. Its was that emotional. I wanted to jump into the book and yell at the people who were so mean to Genevieve! The romance was sweet, and I adored the setting. I was so engrossed in this story, and that is rare.

Angel eyes is about an eighteen year old girl who had faced plenty of tradgety. Coming home from a s chool in a big city to come to terms with her emotions in the small town she was born and raised in. But things arent what they seem to be, and she quickly tumbles head first into a secret world nobody knows about. All because of the new boy at school.

This book came across to me as a book about getting over your past. In a way, I was right, buts its so much.... more than that. I had conflicted feelings about picking this story up and reading it. In a way, im glad I did. Angel Eyes is a love story, and its about Brielle, the main character of the book, coming to terms with her faith. Deep down, she feels that God isnt on her side, and with so many bad things happening in her life, she slowly turns to her dad` beleif that He doesnt exist.
I loved how the characters were portrayed, and how the emotions ran deep. I started to cry during the first chapter! The sorrow wwas held in check by bits of witty humor and action, and its all wrapped in a blanket of mystery.
It quickly turns from a story about a hurting girl when Jake, the new boy, is inserted into the story. He automaticaly becomes 'The guy with a lot of fan girls' and I honestly wish that I culd have gotten more into depth with his story. He rivals Brielle, in my mind, for the hero spot. Hes storng and compassionate, and portrayed with such fiery faith, that the world should prepare for fanclub. Can anyone say,
"Bye-Bye Edward?"
Instert the bad guys, and you have a race to save poor, inoncent souls from and evil that will stop at nothing to get their taloned hands on our gifted hero and heroine, with amazing fight scenes and consequenses. I loved the way emotions were portrayed, and how it affected each and every one of the characters.
The world that Brielle sees is undoubtly beautiful and vividly detailed, and Im proud to say I got an inlet into that world.

Overall, Angel Eyes is a captivating read that will leave book lovers breathless, in tears, holding thier hands to their hearts, and viciously anticipating the sequal, where we will once again glimpse the celestial world that so mayb people everyday long to see.
